Cathy Griffin needs to do a retreat- a personal hiatus. Boo hoo! You screwed up! Take a vacation and give us all a rest! I don't hate you. I think you went too far and the haters will always be out there. Your actions just gave them an excuse to get in your face.
And that goes for all of the folks who have decided to "get in the face" of those people who are working for the Trump White House. Really, when did civility get put on the shelf! How would you feel if you were hounded by those who do not like your politics or decisions? Would you be calm in the face of your attackers? Would you call for a law to protect you?
This country and our government were created for a fair and honest discourse - in civil terms. Civil disobedience is one thing but out and out rudeness is another altogether.
